In a Bend recreational basketball league, the play is both fun and intense

Considering the intensity of the game Sunday evening, the gym at Bend’s Pilot Butte Middle School was relatively quiet, save for the basketball sounds of squeaking sneakers and an occasional toot of a whistle. The two teams appeared to know each other’s every move.
