Brown violated policy, sheriff’s investigators say

A Deschutes County Sheriff’s deputy whose AR 15 rifle discharged as he was driving down U.S. Highway 97 last week — leaving a bullet lodged in the wall of a business — will receive “remedial training” but will not lose his job.
