With successes behind him, city’s interim manager faces new hurdles

When Eric King came to Bend 10 months ago to be its assistant city manager, he was charged with turning the Bend 2030 vision document into actions on the ground. It meant working with community groups and, among other things, coming up with a sustainability plan .
