Durvin and La Vonne (Watt) Slama, of Crooked River Ranch, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married Jan. 31, 1953, in Canby, Minn. They have two sons, Lowell, of Portland, and Mark (and Linda Anderson), of Oregon City; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
