Open the door to the greenhouse at Paul and Barbara MacMillan’s Bend home, and a burst of summer greets you. The warm, humid, earthy air is perfume to a gardener’s nose. Tomato plants are 2 feet high in January. Bushy clumps of parsley are begging to garnish dinner.
