Bend man dies skiing at Bachelor

27-year-old hits tree, dies on the mountain

UPDATED at 11:15 a.m. - A 27-year-old Bend man died Sunday at Mount Bachelor after hitting a tree.

The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office identified the man this morning as Scott Nicholas Hackett.
