Skier killed at Mt. Bachelor

A 27-year-old Bend man died Sunday at Mt. Bachelor ski area after he slammed into a tree while skiing, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.

Law enforcement has not released the identity of the skier, pending notification of his family.
