Taylor Burton Gerke, of Bend, died Monday of natural causes. He was 98.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bend Villa Court Retirement Community.

Mr. Gerke was born Aug. 3, 1909, in Joplin, Mo., the son of Harry and Effie Mae (Cox) Gerke.....
