Despite slick roads, vehicle crashes few

Although a two-vehicle accident Tuesday evening caused delays on U.S. Highway 97 just south of Redmond, icy roads caused relatively few crashes in Central Oregon, according to dispatchers.

Few drivers were on the roads because of the Christmas holiday, according to Deschutes County 911.
