Bend’s first 1000 Lights Walk is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Juniper Swim & Fitness Center and Pilot Butte State Park.

The starting line will be on the south entrance to Juniper Swim & Fitness and will follow a 1.8-mile course east on Franklin Avenue to 10th....
