RiverCity Bluegrass Festival to fill Portland with music

In 1965, music promoter Carlton Haney envisioned and produced the first weekend-long bluegrass festival. Held in Fincastle, Va., the event was filled with workshops and featured the top musicians in the country, according to the International Bluegrass Music Association.
