Spending bill earmarks send $3 million Central Oregon’s way

Bill clears Senate with money for Redmond street work, airport; Bend, Madras draw blank

WASHINGTON — The federal government is sending Central Oregon $3 million in early Christmas gifts as part of the massive federal spending bill that passed the U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
