Mom's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Serves 6 to 8.

C all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

2 lbs stewing beef, cut into -inch cubes

2 TBS vegetable oil

2 C beef stock

4 med carrots, peeled and sliced

4 med potatoes, peeled and chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped
