Tech toys keep retail sales steady

Shoppers haven't been as frugal as expected

The Costco Wholesale warehouse in Bend displayed a shipment of 96 Nintendo Wii gaming consoles on Tuesday morning. In two hours, each of the hot holiday gift items was gone, said General Manager Dan Webber, adding that he believes that was his last Wii shipment this year.
