Pilot program helps Spanish speakers earn their diplomas

COCC’s prep program is boosting the number of people taking their GED exams in Spanish

Every week, the High Desert Education Service District administers the General Educational Development test to people trying to earn their high school equivalency. And even though the test long has been available in Spanish, until this summer no one ever walked through the doors to take it.
