No attempted kidnapping in La Pine, Sheriff’s Office says

A man did not try to abduct a 16-year-old La Pine girl Monday, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has concluded.

The girl said that a man pulled up beside her in a car around noon while she was walking down Finley Butte Road in La Pine, Sgt. Ronny Dozier said.
