Now past 10,000 residents, Prineville eyes an upgrade to its recycling system by ’08

Plan that would meet state requirements could raise rates

Coming in 2008, Prineville residents may get a new recycling system that doesn’t involve putting their paper, plastic and tin cans on the curb in paper bags.

But the new service would, too, raise monthly trash bills.
