Logging to begin this week part of Phil’s, Deschutes trails

Logging for timber sales will take place Thursday on a portion of Phil’s Trail and the Deschutes River Trail near Skyliners Road and Century Drive, according to a news release from the Ochoco and Deschutes national forests.

The logging is expected to continue on and off until March 31.....
