Three-phase plan will increase water pressure in parts of Jefferson County

The North Unit Irrigation District in Jefferson County will soon launch the first phase of a three-phase piping project.

The district intends to start construction on piping one mile of canal after Jan. 1 and finish by early spring 2008.
