Whipping wind a boon for some

Tree-removal and roofing companies enjoy a brief boost in business

Heavy winds damaged roofs and felled trees around Central Oregon on Sunday and Monday, increasing business for local roofing and tree-removal companies, company representatives reported Monday.

Winds topped out at 50 mph Sunday and 30 mph to 40 mph early Monday, according to the National Weather....
