City of La Pine, chamber near agreement on spending reports

The La Pine City Council and La Pine Chamber of Commerce have come close to agreeing on how the chamber will report the spending of its transient room taxes — money collected from hotels, motels and other lodgings.

By law, the city must use a majority of its room taxes for tourism....
