This column was supposed to be about the Obie Trice show Sunday night at the Midtown Ballroom.

I was going to go to find out just how many Bendites will show up for a last-second, hastily promoted concert by a mainstream rapper who’s buds with Eminem. In the cavernous venue, no less.
