Cause of Tumalo Creek flooding uncertain

Officials on Monday were uncertain what caused the Tumalo Creek flooding Saturday that threatened several homes, except for possibly Mother Nature.

Hundreds of sandbags were placed along the edge of the creek over the weekend to protect homes from swift-moving water that jumped the creek....
