Assisted-living facility evacuated in fire

An improperly installed fluorescent light bulb ignited a fire around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, causing the evacuation of part of the Awbrey House, an assisted living facility on the east side of Bend, according to a news release from the Bend Fire Department.
