A 57-year-old transient was being held in the Deschutes County jail Friday morning after he turned himself in to Bend police Thursday, saying he robbed a bank in Washougal, Wash.

Bend police reported that Michael Paul Duffy went to the police station about 7 p.m. to turn himself in for robbing....
