Storms, while knocking out power elsewhere, didn’t help ski area; it won’t open till Nov. 21

Harsh weather conditions in Central Oregon that toppled trees and caused a major power outage Monday didn’t translate to snow at the Mt. Bachelor ski area, so officials there have decided to delay its opening by four days.
