What’s on TV? More channels at higher rates

Bend Broadband to charge more for all but basic cable

BendBroadband plans to raise cable rates Feb. 1 for all its channel packages except basic digital cable.

The increase will help defray costs associated with acquiring new channels, such as Fox Business News, Oxygen and Disney, as well as offset the ever-increasing costs the cable provider pays....
