I warmed up Tuesday at Banff Springs Golf Course’s driving range in Alberta and played a hole at SunRidge Canyon in Arizona.

But I never left Central Oregon, and the temperature never broke 72 degrees.

Modern technology can be wondrous that way.

Like everything with a microchip, golf....
