Highway over McKenzie Pass to close for winter next week

The highway over McKenzie Pass west of Sisters, also known as state Highway 242, is set to close for the winter Thursday, according to a news release from the Oregon Department of Transportation.

The scenic byway opened in late May earlier this year but was closed again for three months for road....
