Cessna letter shows intent to keep Columbia in Bend

Potential buyer wants to lease airport site for half of current price, keep most workers

A potential buyer of Bend’s Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing Corp. intends to keep the small airplane maker in Bend long term and has requested a better deal on land the city leases to Columbia, according to a letter from the buyer to the city.
