Dean Howey, of Redmond, died Monday of complications from cardiac arrest. He was 54.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the VFW Hall in Redmond.

Mr. Howey was born Jan. 12, 1953, in Concordia, Kan., the son of Harold and Shirley Howey.....
