Albert Sr. and Elisabeth (Spee) Beernink, of Bend, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a private reception hosted by their son Oct. 19.
The couple were married Oct. 18, 1957, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. They have one child, Albert Jr., of Lake Oswego, and one grandchild.
