Bend shelter not full, but can’t take more

When the Bethlehem Inn homeless shelter moved in July, it went from a facility that housed 40 people to one that could provide overnight accommodation to 100 Central Oregonians in need of a bed.

But the Bend shelter still only takes in 40 residents each night, and administrators say there....
