A small fire started in a Bend house Monday, according to a news release from the Bend Fire Department.
A heat lamp fell onto carpet around 2:30 p.m. at 1668 N.W. Albany Ave. The resident, Suzy Reininger, had been talking to her neighbor when she heard a smoke alarm go off.
