Motorists on U.S. Highway 97 south of Crescent will probably see smoke from two controlled burns today, according to a news release from the Deschutes and Ochoco national forests.

Fuel specialists will ignite one burn 6 miles south of Crescent, around milepost 194, and the other 13 miles south....
