Bend golfer's Mid-Am run ends in the second round

Brandon Kearney’s run through the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship ended Tuesday in the second round of match play.

Kearney, of Bend, lost to Clemson, S.C., golfer Jordan Byrd, 3 and 2, at the Bandon Dunes course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the Oregon Coast.
