Bend pushes renewable power program

City wants tenth of businesses, homes buying Blue Sky energy

The city of Bend is pushing to get 10 percent of all homes and businesses in the city signed up for Pacific Power’s Blue Sky renewable energy program.

The challenge comes about two weeks after the Bend City Council approved increasing the city’s purchase of renewable energy.....
