Museum will close its gallery in Bend

The High Desert Museum will close its downtown Bend gallery as of Oct. 6, the museum announced Monday.

The venture didn't make enough money and risked squandering the endowment the museum used to run the gallery, said museum Vice President Greta Brunschwyler.
