Escaped convict arrested in Bend

Police arrested an escaped convict who had been on the run since Friday at Juniper Park on Monday afternoon.

Bend police received a report on Monday at about 3:15 p.m. that Chad Lee Edwards was near the Safeway at Northeast Third Street and Franklin Avenue, said Lt. Ken Stenkamp.
