Public will have a say on ban of fireworks

A restrictive ordinance that would ban just about all fireworks in Bend except for sparklers will come up for a public hearing sometime next month before the City Council votes on whether to make it law.

Two councilors, Mark Capell and Chris Telfer, unsuccessfully tried to kill the ordinance....
