Near-freezing temperatures have arrived; now it's time to think about your plants

Like it or not, summer is coming to an end.

Though the first official day of fall is Sept. 23, overnight temperatures have already begun to drop to near-freezing and the National Weather Service is forecasting more of the same for this week.
