Labor organizers honor their own

Picnic celebrates unity among workers

In hopes of reminding locals that Labor Day is a celebration of workers, union leaders dished up hamburgers and hot dogs Monday afternoon to a crowd that filled the main pavilion in Bend’s Pioneer Park.
