Wet weather poses threat to area crops

Normally, a little rain would be a good thing for Central Oregon agriculture, but last week’s thunderstorms hit when many of the region’s crops were at their most vulnerable.

Some farmers were cutting mint leaf and hay crops but had not harvested the crops before the storm....
