Marie "Sodee" (Elder) Byers, of Bend, died Thursday of natural causes. She was 91.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at Bend Villa Retirement.

Mrs. Byers was born Oct. 1, 1915, in Pueblo, Colo., the daughter of Fred and Blanche (Jones)....
