Italian eatery to switch direction

Giuseppe’s to close, reopen as Bistro Pow in downtown Bend

Giuseppe’s Ristorante is saying, “ciao” after more than 20 years of operation in downtown Bend. The owners plan to open a new restaurant with a new concept in its place.

Giuseppe’s owner Peggy Falcaro said the restaurant’s last day will be Sept.....
