Redmond firefighter will take reins

Sunriver Fire Chief Rodney Bjorvik will step down next month after less than a year on the job.

Bjorvik will become assistant fire chief because he wants more time to spend at his family farm. He will be replaced on Aug. 27 by Arthur Hatch, a division chief at Redmond Fire and Rescue. Hatch....
