National Guard's weekend warrior role is in the past

After a two-week training session in Redmond and Yakima, Wash., the Oregon Army National Guardsmen from Bend’s 1st Squadron, 82nd Cavalry were back at home Wednesday, cleaning off vehicles and moving equipment around the armory.
