Diesel prices rising, likely to skyrocket

Central Oregonians should expect to pay significantly more for diesel next week, one local oil industry official said Friday.

The reason: Increasing global demand and growing market pressure to keep gasoline prices low are combining to drive up wholesale prices for the fuel.
