Another July 4 has come and gone, and, as usual, revelers from one end of Bend to the other drank beer, lit matches and sent illegal fireworks zipping wherever the urge took them.
Fun, no doubt. Sensible, no way.
The city did escape without any serious blazes, says Bend Police Department....
