When Robine Bots-Jeffrey hits the water Sunday for the sprint race of the Deschutes Dash triathlon, she's hoping she can push through the bone-chilling 1,300-meter swim in the Deschutes River in Bend.
From there, she thinks the remainder of the race - a 12.5-mile bike leg out Cascade Lakes....
